As part of our Year of the Snake collection, our team struggled with numerous design ideas but ultimately drew inspiration from the theme of "subtlety and harmony" after studying the nature of snakes. Snakes symbolize quietness and restraint, embodying a low-key demeanor and seamlessly blending into their surroundings with protective coloration—just as we envisioned these shoes to pair flawlessly with a cheongsam. This unique characteristic became the core of our design concept, resulting in two limited-edition designs for the Year of the Snake.
Here is the second design: This Year of the Snake-themed shoe continues the core concept of "subtlety and harmony," with an elegant satin material forming the shoe's body. The subtle, shimmering textures resemble the patterns on a snake's body. The crisscross strap design is inspired by the graceful posture of a snake, with the slender straps winding around the feet like a snake's body, showcasing the natural and fluid beauty of its lines. The curvature of the straps seamlessly integrates with the shoe's surface, as if a snake is elegantly coiled around the foot. This not only highlights the thoughtful and unique design but also adds a touch of mystery and softness to the overall look.
The understated sheen gives the shoes a snakeskin-like visual effect, evoking the intelligence and agility of a snake. It symbolizes wisdom, grace, and steady progress into the new year, embodying confidence and poise.
